Fall in New Jersey means different things to different people, but everyone loves a good home show. Not just for spring, these shows are essentially a rite of passage this time of year, as they allow you to rub elbows with home reno experts as you think about projects for the upcoming months.
There are quite a few home shows on the docket in October and the coming months. Here are a few home shows in the coming weeks.
Oct. 12 & 13: South Jersey Home Show, Flyers Training Center, Voorhees. New and longtime homeowners can scout the latest products and talk to a variety of experts and professionals about remodeling, landscaping and decorating. Register online for free passes, otherwise admission is $10 at the door.
Oct. 19 & 20: Bucks & Montgomery County Fall Home Show, Newtown Sports Training Center, Newtown, Pa. Thinking about redoing your kitchen or your bathroom? Want to upgrade windows or replace flooring? Maybe you have questions about paving or power washing? Whatever your needs, you’ll find the pros, products and more to take care of your next project. Admission is free with online registrations; tickets at the door are $10.
Oct. 26 & 27: Eastern Pennsylvania Fall Home Show, Allentown Fairgrounds, Allentown, Pa. Enjoy the fall colors while heading to this annual show, which is celebrating its 22nd year. In addition to home products and services presented by local, state and national vendors, the show also will include area craft makers and artisans. General admission is $10.
Nov. 2 & 3: Westchester Fall Home Show, Westchester County Center, White Plains, N.Y. Take a scenic autumn drive across the border and over the Hudson River for the 20th installation of this home show. Visitors can check out new products and demonstrations and work directly with builders, remodelers, architects, contractors and more. General admission tickets are $10.
Nov. 2 & 3: Connecticut Fall Home Show, Connecticut Convention Center, Hartford, Ct. About two hours from North Jersey (and plenty of picturesque stops along the way) is this home show, which is celebrating its 45th anniversary. Some of New England’s top builders and contractors as well as national vendors will be on hand to answer questions, offer advice and demonstrate the latest products. General admission is $10.
