Snow and freezing temperatures have kept you mostly indoors this winter, and that means more time cooking in the kitchen and enjoying a soak in the bathroom tub. You also might’ve caught yourself wondering what improvements, large or small, could be made to the spaces.
The annual Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) is considered one of the world’s premier stages for kitchen, bath and residential design, as it’s full of ideas, the latest trends and the newest products. The 2026 trade show takes place from Feb. 17–19 in Orlando, Florida. So what ideas will New Jersey’s leading interior designers, architects, builders and developers find and bring home from this year’s KBIS? Here are some of the major themes to expect:
Wellness meets elevated living

Health-centric design is emerging as a cornerstone of luxury interiors. From advanced home hydration solutions and cleaner air/water technologies to induction cooking systems and hygiene-focused fixtures, wellness products are positioned not as niche add-ons but as integral architectural considerations. Magppie, for instance, will make its KBIS debut, showing off its “wellness kitchens” that are made fully of stone for safety, resilience and functional benefits.
Personalization over presets

The push toward highly customized living spaces continues to gain momentum. Exhibitors such as Midea and Motawi Tileworks are showcasing bespoke appliances, surface materials and hardware collections that allow designers to curate designs specific to their clients’ tastes—whether minimalist elegance or crafted maximalism.
Surfaces and material innovation

The latest in sustainable, health-aware surfacing will be on display, from silica-free, recycled materials to new natural stone interpretations (Cava Surfaces is making waves) that blend performance with artisanal character. Color-forward cabinetry palettes and expressive tile collaborations will also be on show.
Luxury finishes and fixtures

Signature lighting collections, high-end bath systems and hardware in rich metallic finishes—from polished gold to champagne bronze—are among the standout touches that promise to redefine tactile sophistication in both kitchens and baths. For instance, event sponsor ZLINE will show off its fingerprint-resistant stainless-steel hardware, while Ecodomo will wow with its recycled leather veneer.
Other exhibitors that will have KBIS visitors talking include:
- Acquaco makes its KBIS debut showing off its Italian stainless steel bathroom fixtures and stone products.
- Caliber Grills, will be on display, including freestanding grills, luxury built-ins and refrigeration options.
- Induction Hardware showcases its smart home appliances with induction technology, outdoor induction grilling and electric cooking options.
- NatureKast shows off its new outdoor kitchen options, including a larger lineup of finishes, stainless-steel undermount slides and gasket solutions.
