I have always been drawn to design. As a teenager I spent weekends browsing furniture showrooms and antique stores, and preferred House Beautiful magazine and Metropolitan Home to the typical teen magazines. A memorable Thanksgiving dinner at my aunt’s house cemented my love for interior design. From the matching tie-back pinched pleat panels to the antique chandelier, with the crackling fire in the fireplace and the impeccably set table, the perfect ambiance seemed to make the meal taste even more delicious. That was when I realized that a well designed home is not only a lovely backdrop, but that it can positively influence how our lives are lived and enjoyed.
Graduating from Berkeley College with my degree in interior design was a life-long dream. In 1995, I founded Diane Durocher Interiors. Together with my team, we have had the privilege to design numerous award-winning projects. I believe that our success comes from our dedication to our clients, the design process and consistently striving to recreate that feeling I had so many years ago.
