Nancy Epstein, the CEO of Artistic Tile, is a fan of Michael Aram’s work—and her customers are fans of Aram’s work too. In fact, many of them had searched her stores for tile choices that would complement his distinct metal designs. Unfortunately for Epstein (and her customers), Aram’s designs didn’t have ceramic tile equivalents. Until now. Epstein approached Aram and proposed a partnership. Aram, who was eager to create tile for his own home, jumped at the opportunity. In June, artistic tile debuted a series of textured and sculpted tiles that draw from several of Aram’s most popular collections: Molten, Botanical Leaf and Gotham. Glazed in bronze, silver and gloss white, the new tiles accentuate Aram’s existing portfolio as well as stand alone as a refined style choice.
